We are looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist who wants to be part of developing the business. The role combines responsibility for the payroll process with broad HR work and gives you the opportunity to gradually grow into greater responsibility.

As our current Payroll Specialist/HR Generalist plans to retire in a few years, we are now looking for her successor. You will have the opportunity to work closely with her, get to know the business, our processes and systems, and gradually take over responsibility for payroll management at Svenska Foder.

About the role

As an HR & Payroll Specialist, you work with both payroll and HR in close collaboration with the HR Manager.

This is a broad and varied role where you combine independent payroll work with HR support for the business. You work closely with our managers and employees and contribute to the development of people, processes, and the organization.

Examples of responsibilities

  • Independently manage the payroll process and associated administration
  • Ensure correct handling of salaries for unionized and salaried employees
  • Responsible for reporting to authorities, pension, and insurance companies
  • Ensure correct reconciliations of salaries, pensions, social security contributions, and other payroll-related accounts in collaboration with the finance department
  • Provide support and advice to managers on HR and labor law matters
  • Support employees on issues related to employment and payroll
  • Work with rehabilitation, work environment, and other personnel-related issues
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and competence development
  • Contribute to the development of HR processes, routines, and ways of working
  • Participate in HR and system-related development projects

Svenska Foder is part of the DLG Group, and the HR team is part of DLG’s global HR organization.

We are a business-oriented HR team that supports managers and employees and contributes to the development of the business. We currently work in Flex HRM for payroll and HR. At the same time, we participate in the DLG Group’s development of common HR processes and systems, which gives you the opportunity to combine local responsibility with international contacts and experience sharing.

Who are you?

You have experience with payroll management and thrive in a role where you also work broadly with HR issues.

Perhaps you currently work as a payroll specialist with HR responsibilities. Perhaps you are an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or HR Business Partner in an organization where you independently manage the payroll process.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, and flat-hierarchy oriented. You are good at building trust, enjoy collaborating, and appreciate working closely with both people and the business.

We believe you have

  • Experience with independent payroll work
  • Experience with broad HR work
  • Good knowledge of labor law and HR processes
  • Good system proficiency, preferably from HR and payroll systems
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
